SigPDF is the signature plugin for Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader and can be used to electronically sign PDF documents / forms and Adobe LiveCycle / SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe. SigPDF can be used with the following Adobe products:

Signing flat PDF documents ( PDF version 1.3 or higher ), PDF/A and standard PDF form (AcroForm)

Following the European Directive for Electronic Signatures of 1999 with SigPDF "advanced" electronic signatures can be created , the highest level without any previous registration of the signatory.

Beside the digital signature, which can be used for integrity checks of the signed data and the - encrypted into the document embedded - hand written biometric signature, an identification of the signatory is possible by a forensic specialist with the biometric signature.

SigPDF also includes an optional API to enable easily signature process without any user dialog with the signatory, he only signs. Also SigPDF supports selectively signing of form fields, which enables true workflow processes.
